This Saturday the 30th of August our Leinster Senior Clue of the year Blue Bull Premier A’s and B’s will host Seapoint RFC in the 2nd round of the Leinster Senior and Seconds Cups.
This will be a big test for our first home game as Seapoint are building strong for the up and coming UBL Div 2A Season. Our Blue Bulls will have taken a lot out of the narrow defeat to UCD in the Belfield Bowl last Saturday with UCD just escaping with a narrow 27-20 win which enabled both sides to take a bonus point from the match.
While our Blue Bulls took a little time to get going on Saturday, once they did, it was a joy to watch as they showed true blue grit to come straight back into the game a nearly steal a win themselves.
Our Premier B’s did one better as they traveled into the heart of Dublin to face Old Belvo in a pre-season Friendly as their UCD Seconds Cup was conceded by UCD.
The Premier B Blue Bulls played some great rugby and really showed the Dublin side what Blue Bull Power and Passion is as they ran out 31-29 winners.
Are boys will take that Blue Bull Fight and determination along into the first home game of the season and with the UBL only 3 weeks away our squad is starting to take shape.
Please come out and cheer on your Blue Bulls this Saturday and lets get the season off to a great start.
