It is a great honour and privilege, to be tasked with captaining the senior squad in the club, this coming season.
I’ve been very fortunate to play under some wonderful club captains, in my time as a player with the senior team. My close friend Tom McKeown, has left big boots to fill as captain, and hopefully we can continue to build, on the high standards set by Tom.
This club has given me so much. From my days as an u13, playing under Frank Smyth, and coming to up to watch the great senior team from the early 00s, all I ever wanted to do, was play for the senior team one day.
Hopefully as a team this year, we can help light the same passion for future players, and supporters, that I’ve felt for the last 20 years, in this great club.
