This Saturday Our NUIM Rugby Scholars have been invited to take part in the prestigious Conroy Cup which is being held in the UCC Sports ground from 11.30am.
In this great competition, we will see our Lads compete against the big 4 in University Rugby UCD, QUB, TCB and UCC, who have all previously, won this Cup.
With a squad of 31 well drilled and well prepared Scholarship students from NUIM, our lads will be well able to compete and beat what’s put in front of them.
The action will kick off for NUIM at 11.30am as they take on QUB.
At 12.45pm NUIM then take on UCD.
Then in the afternoon we will see the semi finals and Finals and we would hope our boys will be there fighting to lift the Conroy Cup for the first time in the University’s history.

Note for all Scholarship students travelling:
- Breakfast will be provided in Chill at 7am.
- Bus will leave from Chill in the University at 7.30am sharp
- A packed lunch will also be provided for all players
- You will be fed after we win the Conroy Cup and there is a food and drink kitty for the journey home.
- Bus will leave UCC sports ground at 4.30pm
- Bus will first stop at NUIM Barnhall RFC for all of the Lads wishing to attend the Clubs Fancy Dress Halloween party.
- The Bus will then continue onto NUIM and finish at Chill in the University.
